What you'll do
  • Help to build applications that are core to Sky’s market leading AdSmart platform
  • Champion the departments adoption of Cloud technologies
  • Work with the Automation Tester to ensure we deliver well tested applications with a robust CI/CD pipeline.
  • Mentor Junior and Associate Software Engineers
  • Engage with the wider AdTech and Sky developer communities.
What you'll bring
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering secure, performant, applications in a variety of languages (C#, DotNET, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript), and SQL in a cloud-based environment (GCP/AWS)
  • Good experience of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Kubernetes clusters and cloud native tools like Big Query, Cloud Composer, Cloud Build (or their AWS equivalents).
  • Complete dedication to excellent Software Engineering standards.
  • An appetite to expand your horizons, to look at new technology and assess how best to use it.

Sky Advertising Technology provides innovative solutions to Sky’s Advertising opportunities including the industry leading AdSmart – that allows our clients to accurately target their adverts to relevant households. As a Software Engineer, you’ll be helping to build those systems and be part of the migration of AdTech systems into the Cloud!

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
